Off the field, the club is very family-friendly and we host many social events, the highlight being our annual beer festival! We organise fundraisers periodically to raise funds for the Cricket section and any contributions from the local community are greatly appreciated. Feel free to pop in and visit us.

ABOUT ALL STARS
Friday 6th May 2022 for 8 Weeks

All Stars Cricket provides boys and girls from 5-8 years old with 8 weeks of non-stop fun. The activity and game based programme is suitable for all skill levels, providing your child with the foundations to begin a lifelong love of physical activity and cricket, while making friends in a safe and enjoyable environment.

CRICKET
for all
All players get a chance to play regardless of ability. We are a fully inclusive club and have teams and coaches to suit all levels. We work closely with local schools and often have open training sessions for all.
Mens Cricket
Cheadle Cricket Club runs 4 senior mens’ teams which play on Saturdays and Sundays. The 1st XI, led by Josh Dooler, will start the 2022 season in the Cheshire County League 1st Division, having come down from a 6 year stay in the ECB Premier Division with eyes firmly fixed on an immediate return to Cheshire’s top division.
The 2nd XI won the 2nd XI Premier League in 2020 for the first time in our history! And look forward to competing in the Premier League again next season in what is a very good standard of cricket.
The 3rd XI, were joint winners of the 3rd XI 1st Division in 2020, with a team consisting mostly of Under 18s. The team finished 5th in the same division in 2021 and will be looking to push on in the 2022 season and try again for the title.
Following a surge in memberships in the 2021 season which saw the need for several friendly games to be arranged to facilitate game time for all available members, the formation of a 4th team has been confirmed for 2022 season!

CRICKET for juniors
Cheadle Cricket prides itself on its junior section with a long, proud history of Cheadle juniors going on to representant the club at senior level. In fact, over the past 3 seasons over 80% of the Cheadle 1st XI represented the club at a junior age group!
The club has teams from U9s to U19s and encourages junior players of all abilities, both boys and girls, to come down and get involved. Junior training, coaching and competitive fixtures are available to our junior members, as well as a fantastic social atmosphere in and around the club house during training sessions and on game days for parents, guardians, siblings and more.

CRICKET for ladies
2019 saw the introduction of our women’s team, in conjunction with Heaton Mersey CC. The team play in the Cheshire County Women’s League. In the 2021 season, the women’s team – led by Charlotte Heasley – finished 2nd in Division 4, a fantastic achievement in only the team’s second full season. This included three players named on the Honours Board for their contributions!
We are actively seeking new members in both the adult and junior age groups to expand on the success of the last three years and to continue to develop the women’s cricket section.
